KPMG Qatar welcomes the Indian Ambassador
HE The ambassador of India to Qatar Ms.Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa visited KPMG Qatar office on April 8, 2009. Ms. Gopalan interacted with KPMG employees and shared her vision in strengthening bilateral relationship between the two nations. HE said “I am happy to note that KPMG is taking the initiative to making a difference in improving the business ties between Qatar and India. I am excited about of working in Qatar and interacting with so many dynamic Indian professionals.”

KPMG Qatar took the opportunity to welcome the new Ambassador and extend cooperation to Indian Embassy in strengthening its profile in the country. The Ambassador was facilitated by senior partners of KPMG. Ahmed Hussain, Partner-in-Charge of KPMG Qatar introduced KPMG to The Ambassador.
Gopal Balasubramanian, Partner KPMG led the discussions on the role of KPMG in development and support of Indian companies in Qatar. Rajesh Menon, Partner KPMG released presented first copy of “Essentials in Qatar”, a KPMG publication on doing business in Qatar to the Ambassador.

Reji Joseph and Arpita Banerjee presented the economic and commercial status of business between the two countries and the potential of future trade and commerce.
