KPMG Hosts Insurance Seminar for Middle East
KPMG hosted a three-day seminar in Bahrain tailored to its Middle East insurance industry audit professionals. The seminar was conducted by Igor Palkovic, Director KPMG Slovakia and Ondrej Busta, Manager, KPMG Czech Republic.
The seminar provided an overview of insurance concepts and introduced advanced audit methods and techniques relating to life and general insurance products. Areas covered in detail related to premium recognition, reserving, unit linked products, liability adequacy tests, claims and claim reserves, and reinsurance treaties.
