Sunando Roy Honored for His Volunteer Contributions
The December event in Bahrain not only celebrated the launch of the chapter but also honored an extraordinary PRMIA volunteer, Sunando Roy.
Sunando's energy and commitment to PRMIA and the risk profession has established numerous chapters in India and throughout Asia and the Middle East. Sunando Roy was a Regional Director of the Mumbai chapter for several years, working closely with other chapters in India to offer a multitude of opportunities to the entire membership in India. Sunando is a member of the PRMIA Board of Directors, a member of the Regional Director Support and Standards Committee and a mentor for new Regional Directors. A PRMIA member since 2004, Sunando is a true advocate of PRMIA and the risk profession.

Sunando is the Director of Financial Risk Management and Regulatory Services at KPMG in Bahrain and Qatar.
Sunando’s strong leadership of the chapter activities and personal commitments of time and guidance have had a tremendously positive impact on the risk community in India. In addition, his support for the global organization has served to enhance PRMIA mission and influence worldwide.
