KPMG’s Risk Advisory Services (RAS) practice is one of the fastest growing practices in KPMG. KPMG’s RAS practice is central to our strategy to grow our non-audit income and can therefore offer a very different type of opportunity for the newly qualified accountants.
Our client engagements are in both front and back office, where we typically work with teams of clients to help improve their businesses, whether it is to help raise margins and increase sales force productivity in the front office bring hard manufacturing principles to the back office, or bring effective risk management techniques to the enterprise.
We have four main service areas:
Performance – helping organizations to enhance their operational efficiency and effectiveness, reduce costs, increase revenues and manage assets better.
Finance – facilitating the delivery of relevant and reliable information for enhanced decision-making, helping clients review and improve the performance of their finance functions
Risk – assisting organizations to understand strategic, operational, regulatory and financial risks, helping to control them and developing remedial action.
Technology – delivering independent advice on systems and technology. Providing organizations with the confidence that IT can support corporate performance and help them realize the full potential of their investment.
Our markets cover Financial Services, Consumer and Industrial Markets, Infrastructure & Government, Information, Communication & Entertainment.

KPMG’s Corporate Finance practice provides a broad range of financial advice to companies and governments with the Gulf Region.
The Bahrain firm’s clients may be buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders or financial investors and our advice can cover:
- raising equity or debt capital
- capital restructuring
- acquisitions and mergers
- divestures and demergers
- joint ventures and transaction alliances
- setting up private establishments in Bahrain
KPMG’s Corporate Finance practice teams work under considerable pressure to very tight deadlines. Deal making by its very nature is intense and competitive and the newly qualified accountant looking to move into this area needs to be able to cope with these sorts of pressures.
