KPMG IT Advisory practice – Bahrain and Qatar
IT Advisory practice, part of Risk Advisory practice, is responsible for providing IT Advisory services such as IT Strategy, IT System Selection, IT Program / Project Advisory, IS Governance, IT Sourcing, System Stabilization & Improvement and Knowledge Management services to its diversified clients in the Financial Services (FS), Oil and Gas (O&G), Consumer and Industrial Markets (CIM), and Infrastructure and Healthcare (I&H) industry verticals.
DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Manager, reporting to Director, IT Advisory will be responsible for project management, bid and proposal management, delivery and team management to provide IT Advisory services in the Financial Services industry vertical (banks, financial institutions and insurance companies).
He is required to perform the following roles and responsibilities:
Proactive identification of client IT needs and proposing appropriate IT Advisory services and solutions;
Lead the bid process by conducting activities such as pre-proposal meetings / presentation, confirming scope of services, proposal development, proposal presentations, etc
Project Management and crafting and delivering appropriate, innovative and value-adding solutions on multiple engagements;
Mentoring and coaching team members, making sure that they are always geared to deliver required IT Advisory solutions and services to clients.
KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Extensive experience of delivering as IT Strategy, Core banking or Insurance application system selection, PMO office set-up, IT sourcing, etc
Good understanding of Banking and / or Insurance industry vertical, with preferably prior experience of working in Financial Services industry;
Core banking / insurance implementation experience, though not mandatory;
Ability to lead and manage internal and client teams;
QUALIFICATIONS:
About 10 years experience, out of which at least 5 years should be in IT Advisory / Consulting practices of Big-4 or leading IT services companies.
Engineering graduates with MBA from premium institutes or Chartered Accountants
Certified PMP (Preferred)
